My Name is Steve Diamond. Nice to meet you!

Diamond Support Services LLC is a company dedicated to serving Churches, Schools and Universities, and other larger venues where sound/media is critical. Steve Diamond has been involved in the AAVL industry for over 40 years and has extensive real world experience. He was awarded a patent for an acoustic device in 2014 which has since been installed in a variety of facilities. Over the years, Steve has toured with bands, owned a recording studio, and is currently technical director at Life Bible Church in Harrisburg, Oregon. He has focused on design and integration since 1997. He has literally designed for hundreds of satisfied clients and partnered with them through installation and training of facility personnel.

Focus

Although Steve has decades of experience and was a founder of a large company doing similar work, Steve left that behind and chose to start Diamond Support Services to provide small to mid-size churches with affordable expertise. It is the smaller church on a limited budget that consistently has a tough time finding a consultant that will take the time to understand their limitations, budget, vision, and the help needed to make wise stewardship decisions.

The business is set up as a sole proprietorship. What that means to you is that you always talk to the Principal, the owner. It also means far lower overhead which translates into much better pricing. Steve’s experience and leadership abilities will provide your team with the guidance necessary for a successful process and project. It is Steve’s mission to forge lasting relationships with his clients based on honesty and integrity.

Diamond Support Services will partner with you through the entire process from design, to implementation, to training. Steve will pay attention to your needs, provide you with timely service, stay within budget, and always give you better than internet pricing. There is no client too small or large, and whether small or large, the service is the same.

Skills

Acoustic Design

  • Working alongside project management and architect to create a room design that will maximize functionality for the client’s use and vision
  • Re-modeling existing facilities to enhance or correct room acoustics to fulfill functional desires and requirements
  • Minimizing sound transmission issues into other areas of the building

Audio System Design

  • Work with the client’s technical team to design a new system, including wiring pathways and electrical specifications, that meets the client’s need and requirements
  • Adding to or replacement of an existing system to improve the congregation/audience experience

Video System Design

  • Whether you require a basic system with a screen and projector, or an advanced system with cameras and production through to broadcast, Diamond Support Services can handle it
  • Multi-screen and rear projection screen design and integration

Lighting Design

  • We can design a low cost simple theatrical lighting system that provides a good platform/stage wash through advanced systems suitable for video production or just creating a very hip look
  • Sorry, we do not design or provide general room lighting design or implementation. But, we do work alongside your provider to integrate the room lighting with the theatrical lighting elements to create a seamless operation.

Audio Training

  • Over 30 years teaching experience including at the college level
  • Training users of audio systems in understandable terms that easily translate to better audio mixing for your congregation/audience
  • Well versed in most digital and analog consoles
  • Programs range from one evening single subject sessions to a complete 3-day (two evenings followed by a full day) intensive sound training accompanied by a proprietary 45-page manual

Video and Lighting Training

  • Programs range from a one evening single subject format to a full day lighting and video seminar sure to improve user skills
